It’s pretty good life advice, but it’s great business advice…especially if you’re thinking about the talent in your organization. “I’m not sure that person should get promoted to Director”. If you’re not sure, you’re sure. “I’m not sure that candidate is right for the company”. If you’re not sure, you’re sure. “I’m not sure, but I think that person is kind of an asshole”. If you’re not sure, you’re sure. You can’t create a culture that people want to be a part of…a workplace where Monday morning doesn’t suck if you have bad Leaders. A bad Leader will never create a good culture.
